A pitcher lives or dies on its spout. This one is pulled to a sharp underside edge, which is
the detail that decides whether the last of the pour lands in the glass or down the side of the pitcher.
One quart — water for a table of four, milk for a morning, or a short armful of cut stems when it is
not doing either. The handle is generous enough to use with a full pitcher and set at a height that keeps the
balance over your wrist instead of out past it.
Glazed inside and out in warm oat with a raw foot. Dishwasher safe, though the glaze keeps its depth longer
with a hand wash.
