Olive wood has a grain that does not repeat — dense, swirling, and different in every
piece, so a set of three never looks machine-made even though the shapes are consistent.
Three shapes cover nearly everything: a deep spoon for stirring and tasting, a slotted spoon for lifting
out of liquid, and a flat turner with a thin leading edge that gets under things without tearing them.
The wood is naturally oily and dense, which makes it resistant to staining and to holding onto smells. It
will not scratch enamel or a seasoned cast iron surface.
Hand wash only, dry promptly, and rub in a food-safe oil when the color starts looking flat. Roughly 12
inches each.
