Ridgeline Enamel Saucepan

$68.00

A 2-quart enamel-on-steel saucepan with a rolled pouring lip and a stay-cool handle.

SKU: OG-RIDGELINE-ENAMEL-SAUCEPAN Category:

The Ridgeline saucepan is the pot most people reach for first and wash last. Two quarts is the
size that covers the everyday middle ground — a batch of rice, a pint of soup, blanched greens, the
morning oatmeal — without the heft of something you have to lift with both hands.

It is enamel fused to a heavy-gauge steel core, so it takes heat evenly and does not develop the scorched
ring that thin pans get around the burner edge. The interior is a pale, non-reactive glaze, which means acidic
things — tomato, lemon, wine — come out tasting like themselves. The rim is rolled and slightly
flared so a pour lands where you aim it instead of running down the side.

The handle is hollow steel, welded rather than screwed, and stays comfortable through a normal stovetop
session. There are no rivets on the inside wall, so there is nothing for food to catch on and nothing awkward
to scrub around.

Enamel is honest about wear. It will pick up faint utensil marks over the years, the same way a well-used
kitchen does. That is finish, not failure. Wash it by hand with a soft sponge, skip the abrasive powders, and
it will outlast most of what shares the shelf with it.

Works on gas, electric, and induction. Not for the broiler.
